Product Enhancement Requests
From CiscoClue
Product Enhancement Requests (PERs) offer some customers an oppertunity to submit requests for a new feature or capability. While this is a simple idea, actually getting the PER committed is not. It is recommended that if you want a feature, that a DDTS (Distributed Defect Tracking System, aka CSCxxxxx) be filed instead as DDTSs are treated differently than a PER. PERs can take several years to actually be implemented while a DDTS strangely, is committed faster.
This section is dedicated to listing PERs you have requested or would like to see requested. It is optional if youd like to post the actual PER identification or company name.

ssh <hostname> /vrf <vrfname>(see below) - exec-mode 'terminal vrf <vrfname>' to control effective vrf for all commands
- uRPF for IPv6 in H/W on PFC3
- Public key auth for SSH
- i.e. from a client machine, use an RSA/DSA key to log into a Cisco IOS router
- obviously need some way to upload keys and associate them with users
